certCredProvider.dll after starting clone that is working fine

I cloned a Windows installation (AD/DC) at a customer using HD clone pro. This clone is running on an I3-3240 while the original image was build on an I3-4150. Everything is working fine now but I keep getting a message that

    certCredProvider.dll

Is not valid or contains a fault, see screenshot. I have a copy from an identical machine without the issue but I'm unable to replace it. And since I'm doing everything remote. Booting in to a linux live cd is not an option.

I used takeownership from Add "Take Ownership" to Explorer Right-Click Menu in Windows

took ownership of certCredProvider.dll, renamed the dll and replaced it with one from a good working windows 7. After that no errors have been seen anymore.
