how to update windows 7 to sp1 from setup disk

    Hi,
I am running windows 7 x64 on my pc. Last day i downloaded windows 7 sp1 (iso file) from torrent for my friend and created a bootable usb and successfully installed in his pc. Now i need to use this to update my pc to sp1. Is it possible without reintalling..? (when i opened setup.exe it says use the oter installation disk that says 64-bit)

I have downloaded windows from torrent and it is about 3.9 GB and update is about 2.9GB . My internet connection is 1 Mb/s so it is a bit slow. So if it is possible i can save my time and data.

    Hi,
If you're okay with torrents just download an iso with sp1 already in it :/

sounds like 1 of you got a 32bit comp and the other a 64 bit, chose the correct one from the D/L link

I would just download and install Service Pack 1 through windows update.

If your internet service is slow, that1s too bad, but there`s nothing else you can do.

    Just run Windows Update.

Or just use this link that Mike already posted.
