    Migrating to SSD, MBR problem

I'm trying to migrate my Win7 OS to a SSD. I've used easeus partition manager to copy my partition. It just created one partition on the SSD though. Later, I got it to copy the boot partition from the original C: drive, and I used mbrfix to try and fix the MBR. That hasn't worked.

I have two partitions on the SSD. I'm pretty sure I have a valid OS, but I don't have a functional boot record. How can I fix my MBR and or diagnose whatever problem there is with it?

If you have the partitions the way your want them on the SSD, a much simpler way to do the migration is to download Macrium Reflect Free and make an image of your OS from the HDD and restore it to the SSD. You need to make sure the partition is bigger on the SSD than the HDD.
