Can windows7 be installed from a USB flash drive?
As far as I know, the USB port needs Windows drivers to work? So it can't be installed from a flash drive? Is there any logic in what I'm saying?

Depends on the BIOS capability of the computer. Pretty much all of them built in the last 10 years or so are capable of booting to a USB device.
Yes you can, absolutely :)

Than you all for your replies. Thanks AddRAM for telling me about Wintobootoc, Ztruker for telling about the BIOS
Just know this, with a USB stick install, you don`t make any boot order changes in the menu, just use the boot menu usually (F8) to boot from the usb stick.
Do this the first time and that`s it when the pc reboots, the install should then continue just as if you were using a dvd.
