    Problem with uninstalling SP1 before a repair reinstall of Win7

    Solutions for the primary problem that don't involve reinstalling Windows are also appreciated.

    Hello Xfing now I have read the other thread and am a little perplexed as to what you are referring to as the problem. In particular why are you trying to uninstall SP1?? it simply makes no sense to me.

    If service pack 1 was not installed as an update, then I don`t see how it could be removed.

    If it was, then you would simply go to installed updates and uninstall it.
