    dat transfer XP to 7

When I try to load Easy transfer to XP Home to transfer files into my new computer with Windows 7, I receive a message that I am logged in as a guest when I am logged in as system administrator. Any suggestions?

Hello bofirch, and welcome to Windows Seven Forums!

If you would please, could I have a few more details? You have already used the Easy Transfer Wizard to save your XP stuff, right! Now what 7 have you installed? How many user accounts have you created? How do you start the Easy Transfer Wizard in 7?

Any additional info would be helpful.

    Robert:

Thanks for your response. The problem is that the easy transfer software won't install on my XP machine. When I try to install it, it rejects the installation and gives me a error message that says I cannot install this software because I am logged on as a guest user, please re-start you computer and try again. I am the only user of this computer and I am logged in as the systems administrator. Any suggestions?
