Windows 7 sp1 is supposed to be installed but sp1not installed.

I had a tech upgrade my laptop to windows 7 sp1( I have the disc) . I use this laptop for back up and trips away. When I tried to upgrade to 10 I was getting upgrades failing. security upgrades installed fine.
I don't believe I ever had sp1 installed and cant go any further until it is. how can I install sp 1.. I have the disc.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Click the Start button and right click the Computer listing and click on Properties

On the top it should say Service pack 1

Thanks Gary? yes it does tell me I have sp1.
and the disc states it is windows 7 with sp1
the issue is when I try downloading windows 10 I now have all the updates except sp 1. which shouldn't have been an update originally. I really don't want to uninstall and reinstall windows 7 sp1. this laptop was updated from Vista to 7 purely so I could get windows 10.

this may be my only option . I am just worried I may lose some programs for which I don't have installation discs...

    Hi,
I believe you still need sp1 but you say you already have it so makes me wonder why the upgrade say you don't ?
Show the same image I posted mate I'm a little confused by your last post say you do but you don't

You either have Service Pack 1 or you don`t.

    If you don`t it`s a simple update.
