Ok. I had attempted to install it on legacy boot which I be is csm. It loaded past starting windows but when choosing the partition it said it is GPT and has to be mbr. Any way to convert GPT partition to mbr without formatting the whole hard drive? The reason I m reluctant to format is that I don't have an original dvd of win 8 with me so no risks. Or is there any other way I can run win 7 on my PC by creating win to go or installing it on a vhd drive and booting it or any other way in which I can run windows 7 on my PC with all my nvidia drivers and cpu drivers and most importantly directx. In other words anything but not virtual machine or removing win 8. The worst part is that I can't even install aero glass ( one of the main attraction of win 7 for me ) on win 8 as again when I try to run it the error comes that secure boot is enabled. Whereas it is not. Help pls

Ok. I think converting to mbr is not in my plate since I can't remove win 8 and format anything. Any other way to install win 7. Since win 7 Can be installed on UEFI am I doing something wrong or what?
