Boot Screen: Looks Like XP Stayed...

I installed Windows 7 on a third machine of mine, (Netbook) and all is well except that the boot screen is somewhat similar to that of XP.
There's the green graphic bar, and that's it--no Windows logo, or copywrite date, or anything like that?
Any ideas?

Sounds like you did an upgrade, rather than a clean install..This sometimes happen during the upgrade process... one more reason to always do a fresh install .....

Hmm...perhaps...
Although I chose clean install during the process.
The only thing I did differently this time around, compared to the other two installs, was that instead of booting into the install disc, I inserted it while in XP and chose to install it via that way.
Everything else about this install points to being a clean install, except for the boot screen.
'Tis strange.

I would do the install again, only this time boot the CD. That should guarantee a true Clean Install.

I guess I could do that. It's just unfortunate, as I've already been setting things up, and that takes time.
Is there a way that Windows can see if it's installed properly? Other than the boot screen, there are no signs or being improperly installed.
What about "repair" mode?

That's a good tip. I'll do it as soon as I'm back in front of that particular machine (@ work right now).
