Burning a Win7 ISO on my External Hard Drive

    Hello guys!

Today I tried to burn a Win7 ISO file on my External Hard Drive, I used poweriso and it failed to burn with NTFS file system, whenever it is FAT32 it succeed, I used Rufus it also failed .
Is is possible to burn it on my external hard drive with NTFS file system ?
My external hard drive is 500GB, ADATA Brand
    thanks in advance

Abduki mate am not sure if you want to put the ISO onto the drive or burn a disk from it.
If you are burning a disk from it then ImgBurn or Poweriso would do that easily and if you have a file on your drive then it is only a matter of copying the ISO to another drive.

Dear ICIT2LOL, thank you so much for your time
I wanted to make a bootable USB from my external hard drive, as I see it is impossible to make it for 500GB without making the file system FAT32.
Making the file system FAT32 is a problem for me because this kind of system doesn't accept files larger than 4GB, So I need to find a way to use my external hard drive as a bootable USB with NTFS file system.

Hmm mate I think you might be whistling in the wind with that one and for what it is worth I would be burning a disk from the ISO - personally I find them far easier to use and not to mention cheaper, and if they are corrupted then one just makes another. Just one thing and that is to ensure you burn the disk at the very slowest speed you have access to. .

Not sure why you`re having trouble burning an iso file stored on an external drive, but anyway, put the iso file on an internal drive on your pc and try again.

Where did the iso file come from ?

Did you create it from a disc ?

    Did you download it ?
