Uninstall Win7 Student/Faculty Version...for Later or Reserve Okay?

I performed a clean install of 32-bit Win7 Ultimate on my Asus netbook with a student/faculty version. I think this is similar to a retail version of the OS. I have identified a better option for this under powered hardware and prefer to uninstall the Win7 entirely. I may hold the Win7 in reserve until I build or, purchase a higher-level pc or, I may find a person more needy than I to donate it to. My son's Montessori may be a candidate for this idea. A dual-boot configuration is possible but, I do not consider this a requirement in that this is my son's netbook so, there is no absolute need for Windows for his use and enjoyment of the computer. Additionally, he his use of the netbook does not involve any application requiring Win7.

However, you need to know the following before offering me solutions:

1 - My Win7 CD is an upgrade and this was not clearly advertised when I purchased it. I discovered this while attempting to certify the installation. SevenForums members informed me of a batch file I was able to run that permitted me to authenticate the clean install. Can I reuse this batch file multiple times?

See post #8 here for my previous method:

2 - Retaining my Win7 upgrade for later use - I think this can only be used as an upgrade from Vista...correct? This netbook came with XP, a rescue disk and a COA sticker. If Vista is my only upgrade path with regard to these conditions I may need to search for a Vista CD or an older pc with Vista installed.

3 - At the moment, I am purchasing components to build a 64-bit desktop so, this Win7 holds no obvious or immediate value to me.

    Thanks for the assistance.

    Hello Rick, :)

If wanted, you would be able to do a direct clean install of an upgrade copy of Windows 7 using the method in the tutorial below.

Thanks! I suspected this might be the case yet, have no desire to tempt fate with copyright enforcement!

Edit - Yes, thank you Brink. The help is appreciated and nothing short of extremely competent on these forums since I joined in 2014.
