Dual booting is the way! I just link all my videos and music to my C: Vista installation, so when I go back to Vista (if I have to) all the stuff is going to be as it was :)

You should burn the data as an ISO file. Any other format would be useless. :)

the best solution is to install Windows 7 beta in different partition and run dual-boot with whatever system you have, Vista or XP...then decide what to do...if everything works you can make Windows 7 you primary op...and remove the old stuff...also not recommended to install Windows 7 on a drive that have an other op like Vista...then setup creates a folder called windows.old and puts your old system there....keep it clean...

I on the other hand just installed it on my laptop formatting the whole ****ing drive...I was soo tired of Vista slowing down the laptop...I didn't care...I've tried a of others op on the laptop like Ubunto and Mandriva but WIFI buttons wont work with thoose op...in Windows 7 it works and Vista is history now...what happends after august 1? well, I really don't care...all I know is that Vista wont come back, not over my dead body!
