    Reinstalling Win 7?

Iv had enough of Win 10, I dont want to re-learn so much. Where do I get Win 7 disc? Iv seen things on Ebay but prices are from a few dollars to $100, I just want to make sure i get the right one, I did have 7 home premium 32, would like the pro version, and 64 bit if it is better but 32 HP was okay.

What do I need, a key? serial number, repair disc or OEM disc.

    thanks

Chewtah mate did that Toshiba come pre installed?? If so then why not factory reset it?? You nly nee to beack up the data first.

If though you are using a drive you put in yourself then you will need an ISO and use the original COA that is on that sticker on the machine.

Depending on when you installed, it you should be able to restore windows 7, as I think it does allow you to go back to previous OS within 30 days. Think you need to go to settings -> restore or something similar.

Ok mate if you look at this PSAW3A-07P00R - Toshiba Satellite A660 Computer - Australia :: Toshiba :: Computers, Laptops/Notebooks, Tablets, Televisions, DVD and Blu-Ray Players, Camcorders, Storage, Accessories, and more if mentions a restore function for a 64bit copy of Windows if you want to give that a try.

Just make sure the PART NO is the same as in the link first see pic

Well I thought the install of win 7 64bit, HP was okay, it is BUT,
    there is no wi-fi,
no Toshiba things, (help menu?) etc,
and the graphics card doesn't work.

I went to the library to use their wi-fi and couldnt hook up, as /i have no wi-fi. It may be function button related but not sure there.

Working wi-fi would save a headache, I could download it all at the Library (sounds cheap, yes)
On the Toshiba site, which is the missing Toshiba stuff I need?
Also, Iv notice when I 'bookmark this page' on google chrome, no new bookmarks come up.

    Any ideas?

A minor point is, when I type the thing thing that looks like this 'I' that is moved around by the cursor gets in the way, and some cammand Im doing, (miss-using the key board) makes the typing cursor jump back to where ever the 'I' is and the typing starts there, and makes a mess of things??o

Can you run this and post the file it creates,

System Information File - Create in Windows

You clearly need drivers, that was obvious in your other thread.

    Two VGA graphics adapters installed?

chewtah, you have to install your drivers, plug into your router with an ethernet cable.

Have you bought Windows 7 yet ? All you need is an oem version from a reputable retailer like Newegg, not some bogus website offering a digital download and key, you don`t want that, they will rip you off, the key will be no good.

Awful expensive down under, but I`m sure John can find you something cheaper.
