    Windows 7 stuck on Checking updates


    Hello,

    yesterday I made a format of my second PC and I installed Win7 Ultimate x64 again. Now I have a problem with updates. For about 5-6 hours I see only "Checking for updates". Can anybody help me with that?

    My 2nd computer is really old
    Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 2.66GHz
    Gigabyte EP45-DS3R
    4GB RAM Kingston
    ATI Sapphire HD5850 512MB

    All I need is to create DLNA from old computer to watching movies on TV.

    Finally! After a lot of hours I found solution I think.

    I followed Solution #1 and now I'm downloading 233 updates.

    Will inform you if everything works fine.
