    You need to do a fresh install if you want to go from 32Bit to 64Bit and the only place you will find a free 64Bit copy now is on torrent sites and many of those have been messed with so make sure you read the comments to give an idea of what you are downloading, the file should be 3.15GB and make sure it's an ISO.

    Hi Ladycd,

    The only way to get hold of a 64 bit d/l is as Mr Grim said.

    However , you should have no trouble using a 32bit o/s on a 64bit capable machine. I have both 32 and 64 bit o/s on mine.

    I assume you already have a 64bit operating system installed (Vista , probably ).

    You only need to make another partition and install your 32bit version of Win 7 onto that.
