0x0000007B error, trying to install Windows XP

    Hello,

So I have a Dell Optiplex 960 that I'm trying to install Windows XP on through USB, and everytime I try to install it, I get error 0x0000007B.

Now I already know this is a common problem for trying to install Windows XP, but I already set the drive mode in BIOS to "Legacy" and I'm still getting the error. I've tried multiple empty hard drives and still nothing works. I already tried reflashing the latest version of the BIOS, and I even went as far as to using nLite to add SATA drivers into the XP iso.

I basically tried everything I can think of and simply cannot get Windows XP to install without getting this error. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Would installing XP through a disc help?

Also I know that this forum is aimed toward Windows 7, but I'm desperate to get this fixed.

    Thanks.
