Missing system files
comeonyouluckies asked on September 3, 2016See post history
Morning all, I have a Dell Inspiron N5110 , laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium, SP1, 64 bit. It came with no disc, but has the Windows 25 digit product key on back. Plenty of RAM and hard drive space ,500Gb plus. The Inspiron progress bar gets to about one third, then Windows boot manager shows its ugly face. " Windows failed to start, to fix the problem, insert installation disc, choose language then click repair computer."
FILE \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\WINLOAD.EXE
STATUS 0xc000000f
INFO The selected entry could not be loaded because the application is morning or corrupt.
I created a Win 7 disc online, pressed F2, F12, F8 pressed the C button, tried last known good configaration. But no joy. When I hit enter it says CHOOSE an operating system, windows 7 is highlighted hit enter again and it goes back to the previous screen.
how can I get the file onto laptop if I can even download the system file.
Any help would be much appreciated, bring back the floppy.
