Please give us all hardware specs and what OS you are trying to install. If your computer is old, tell us the history about it.

Windows 7 pro, its not about hardware since few days ago it was working. I was having problems with booting windows ( i got booted to black screen with cursor) so i used installation disc to acces repair computer options, those did not help neither did chkdsk and scf scannow in command prompt. After that when i tryed to do clean install installation disc stoped working ( boots to blue screen with cursor).
As for history: i expanded reserved system k partition and after that i couldnt boot into windows ( got to black screen with mouse cursor) after that i followed one of the tutorials from this forum that was supposed to help me fix it, did lot of commands in command prompt and now i cant even boot installation disk. Am trying to find this tutorial now to link it but with no luck so far.
1 more thing: even though screen is blue blank with cursor after loading windows files, i am able to open command prompt with shift f10

SOLVED: After using shift f10 to open command prompt i tryed running sfc scannow and dskchk again, while i was doing that window for keyboard and laguange selection appeared and normal install now windows 7 option after that

I resstarted and tryed again just to be sure, when i get to blank blue scren i pres shift f10 to open command prompt, entering diskpart in cmd prompt is what does the trick even thought i dont know why
