    Hi Chermesh,
LBB is correct you need to activate the system using KB971033.

I do have a couple of comments.

What is your BOOT OS order, if 7 is not the primary option please make it so.
You also appear to have entries in your action Centre review them.

I don't know and I can't find out. Windows Update isn't available on Safe Mode.

    These are for sure problems.

    Thanks.

p.s. Strange, but I failed to find any reference to the directory C:\Windows\system32\wat\ neither in my file system nor in my registry.

He is sure right. Still, there's no way I know, to run an update while I'm in Safe Mode.

At present, my primary option is windows 10, but does it really matter? I can change any time since I've installed EasyBCD

The two entries refer to a recommendation to backup my system and to start my Firwall. I doubt if they are relevant to my "real" problem.

    Hi Chermesh,
Please change your boot order to W7 first,
It is well known that W7 does NOT perform as expected when running 2nd.
You might find that the "real problem" is solved if you do this, and your firewall might start.

note if your specs are correct, increase your ram min for W7 Ult is 3GB

You say you can only boot in Safe Mode.

When you try to boot in Normal Mode do you get a error code.
What does your computer do when trying to boot in Normal Mode?

Make sure this is as the picture below.

    Hi Layback Bear,
Please see my first post. My system gets stuck when I opt to Normal Mode. All I can see is the Trask Can icon, and I can't open even this directory. No function (F1. Ctrl-Alt-Del, Windows Key, etc. work).

Bringing my system to Normal Mode boot is the real challenge. Afterwards, all other problems, like installing an update, will probably be solvable.

    Hi torchwood,
I changed the boot order and win7 is now the default booting path. Still, nothing changed.

You should be able to get into System Configure like my picture even in Safe Mode.
