Windows 7 Pro DSP OEI license eligibility

I was wondering if it is all right to install a Windows 7 DSP OEI on an old computer or if I have to buy a new one in order to install it. Someone told me a while ago that the computer mustn't be older than 1 month. Is this true?

But I've also read something completely different - that you're not actually allowed to install any OEM/OEI license on your own computers and that only suppliers who go on selling them can install them. So what should I understand from all this?

If you buy an oem disc and license sure you can install it on your PC, in fact OEM is all you`ll find for W7, and that has dwindled down pretty much to the Pro version.

You can install it on any PC you want.

Well, look at the description on the amazon site for instance:
Win Pro 7 SP1 64-bit English 1pk DSP OEI DVD (This OEM software is intended for system builders only): Amazon.co.uk: Software

    Important Information About This Product
OEM software is intended for system builders and small OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) who manufacture computer systems and pre-install OEM system builder software onto those systems. It is not intended for purchase or installation by consumers. Please note that end-user technical support will be provided by the system builder and not by the manufacturer or the reseller (Amazon.co.uk).

When I reached this link I had already read something that corroborated this.

If you believe that, there`s a bridge I`m selling if you`re in the market :)

But seriously, there are no MS employees that will come check up on you, and technically you are a system builder.

Quite a few of us here have a SBL, I do.
