Hello Everyone, That was a good one Thrashzone about the slug. Thank you DavidE, I am aware windows
7 has support until 2020, and I will stay in my comfort zone with it until it ends. No more trying other
software, and giving myself headaches, even though I get a laugh along the way, you still have to fix the
    problem you started with.

Yea, stay in your comfort zone.

This thread started out about a question for your niece's PC and Win 8.x, and changed to Linux on your PC.
    I think you have 2 different questions/issues.
I tried to offer suggestions to help with both.
Take all my posts/suggestions with a BIG grain of salt.

I love the suggestion from TZ about a cup of beer.
If that can keep slugs and grubs off my systems that's great, i gotta try it.
then i won't need an AV, MBAM, and all other security stuff

    Hi,
Slug's are alcoholic's so they drown in the beer
I wish we were that lucky with linux boot grub... :)

Sorry DavidE, I did get off track when you mentioned about someone else's system with Linux. I do thank
you for helping. I did phone my local technicians, and they are only building machines with windows 10 now.My niece is going to wait until she has some more money, and she will go for Windows 10. The rest
about Linux was really just for a laugh, about a silly thing I did at one time, just reminded me about it.
