HP Laptop Upgrade to Windows 7

I have a HP dv5 Series laptop.I wish to upgrade from Vista Basic 32 to Windows 7 32.
However, the upgrade lists out certain issues like SCSI/RAID Host controller and keyboard filter(among others),as potential issues.
What should I do to resolve these issues, and where do I go to find resources needed for the solution?
Also,is it necessary to uninstall services like Catalyst manager, and UT3 and reinstall them,or can I just leave 'em there, install Windows 7 and then update these programs?

Do a clean install. Then remove everything not necessary. When you install you should have a keyboard, monitor and modem. I had to reinstall the Cat. manager, very easy. If you do a clean the Cat manager, etc will not be an issue.

Cannot do a fresh install.Don't have the space necessary for backing my data.
Just wish to know what these issues are and how to resolve them.

This is what it says in the compatibility test.

These devices might not work properly after the upgrade. Before upgrading, we recommend updating the drivers for these devices. Cancel the upgrade, open Control Panel and search for "update device drivers", or go to the device manufacturer's website to search for updated drivers.

o Storage controllers: SCSI/RAID Host Controller
    o Keyboard Filter

These programs might not work properly after the upgrade. We recommend uninstalling these programs before upgrading. Cancel the upgrade, open Control Panel, and search for "uninstall a program". (Note: Programs marked as * can be safely reinstalled after the upgrade.)
