installing windows 7 pro on Dell Laptop

    Dear forum members.
I own a dell laptop E6410 which I purchased second hand
The hard drive had been wiped
I tried to download a copy of windows 7 from the microsoft site by putting in the product key that is on the laptop sticker. but I got a message saying this is a OEM version that was pre-installed on the computer : in a nutshell it wouldnt let me download windows 7. It said to contact the company that made the laptop.

I would like a legal installation on my laptop but suspect it might be dear to buy one from dell, assuming that it is available
Please can anyone advise : do they know of a download anywhere of a version that can be installed on my laptop with my product key: By the way the OS is Win 7 Pro and it says x15-53895 on the sticker.

Any advice would be appreciated thank you. Ian

    - Download the Win 7 SP1 OEM iso - With the MS iso downloader (downloader) and download your OEM win 7 Pro.
Use the COA key to install / activate. The Key is 5 fields with 5 numbers & letters.

    Dear Sir
Thank you for your kind reply.
I have tried the iso downloader you kindly provided the link to
Win 7 OEM iso, but when I chose the "win 7 " bullet on the right hand side it simply blanked out the whole page and nothing happened.
Please have you any further suggestion?
    Best wishes
    Ian
