New Installation Win Prof 7 64bit fails, wrong disc is taken...
Hello,
the Hd from a Samsung 530 U Notebook was broken, so it was installed a new SSD (250 GB).
Each time, when windows is installed (from USB), there are listed two devices. One 15 GB and the new SSD 250 GB. Both devices were formatted. The 250 GB device was choosen for installation. Copying, installation all works well. Only the Boot from the SSD doesn't work. When I choose the repair-Mode during installation, i see that windows is installed on D:. So i think here is the problem, that the small device 15 GB (whatever that is, probably some intern memory for the Restore-Function) is always taken as C:, and on that the Boot-Stuff is stored on during installation.
I started a linux live version and GPArted shows me the same. Boot stuff is on 15 GB device, windows on the other SSD. So with this combination it doesn't work, but I don't know how to fix this problem or how to solve it. I tried the installation several times, with formatted 15 GB device, with deleted 15 GB device. Always the boot stuff is stored on this small 15 GB device.
Hope I get help :) knowledges are average, so pls describe detailed... THX
best regards,
christian
