    Installation will not allow input.

I am trying to install Windows 7 Pro on a HP Pavilion All-in-One, that came with Win 10 pre-installed. Once I get to the first menu screen, where you select the language, either it freezes or it just will not allow input from keyboard, mouse, and touch screen.

I have tried different iso files and different USB's and DVD's... still same problem.

the motherboard probably has only usb3.0 ports and needs those drivers, and the win7 install media you have now lacks those drivers. I "think" this is the page for your motherboard...

which means this is the page for your win7 drivers....

you will need to take the above driver files, extract them, then integrate them into a win7 installation dvd or usb that you create yourself, as discussed here. Ignore the nvme part....

Thank you so much, you just saved me from getting fired. The Intel 3.0 Creator worked like a charm.

Had to downgrade to windows 7, due to the fact that our QuickBooks Point-of-Sale system wouldn't run on windows 10.

    I owe you big!
