Starting Over - Laptop with new Hard Drive

    Hi,

    I have a Toshiba Satellite P875-S7102 Laptop,

    Intel Core i7 3630QM @ 2.40GHz,

    Two internal Drives;

111GB SanDisk SDSSDA120G ATA Device (SSD),

931GB Western Digital WDC WD10JPVX-22JC3T0 ATA

This laptop originally had Win 8.1 installed, but the hard drive crashed. I purchased the above two HDs thinking I’d install Windows 7 on the smaller SSD Drive and Programs, Documents, etc on the 1T Western Digital Drive.

My problem is I am in over my head on this one. Windows 7 is installed, but I have none of the DLLs or appropriate structure to use any of the hardware or even get online.

I can plug the original Hard Drive into the laptop and see most of the files on it. Whatcha think?

Did you not get a DVD with motherboard drivers that should have most of what you want failing that you need to try the makers site for drivers get network ones first so you can get that going to down load other drivers. There could be a problem that there are no drivers for Windows 7

    All I have is a 16GB USB from Toshiba marked "TOSHIBA:AMA40112301E SFF716593.

It contains various folders and files, none executable or bat file. (See attached JPG)

I have various software, like Speccy, Power Solutions, WinPE5.1, and others.

By the way, I obtained this laptop through an estate sale. That's why no backups or installation disks.

    Configuration settings,

    Window Command Scripts,

application files (exe) [RicaLauncher, RicaPbrBuilder, and others],

    efi files,

    .dll,

    WIM file,

SWM files [PREINST## files (66 total)]. These in the ZZIMAGES Folder.

No .inf files. I searched drive, got zero.

I wonder if this may be a "Copy & Replace" for some existing structure in a directory...

I can take a screen shot of any folder contents, if needed.

    Yes, I believe they are!

    The laptop is a Satellite P875-S7102 64-bit

Do I simply download them and activate them on that laptop?

Get the lan driver first then you should be on the net and can download the others and install them I would save them to dvd for future use. They come as zip files so you will have to unzip them then there should be an install

Wireless LAN Driver link on the site is dead. Goes to a 404 error... I'll try again later.
