Windows 7 freezes during install after loading files

    The disc is clean been kept in case only used once and is retail. That's why I tried zorin I know it's not the windows install disc. And zorin not working proves it. But I don't know how to find the problem I will try anything.

    It can be that you have a defective memory or your ODD has dust on the lens.
    Fist, do a memory check.

    Just make a usb installer and see if it works

    I cleaned the disc tried again still the same. I used same disc and did a clean instal of windows 7 32bit on my pc. No problem.
    I used mem test ram is OK no errors
    Disc check no errors.

    I'm running out of ideas

    No scratches. I cleaned the disc tried again still same. I used the same disc and installed 7 on a old pc no problem.
    I checked memory with memtest no errors
    Checked hdd no errors

    Graphics is sis mirage 3 it says in the device manager

    Looked online and the graphics driver suite may not compatible with 7 but the card is.
    Any suggestions how to sort it please

    I made a bootable usb and tried installing via usb. Changed boot priority in bios to external sources. It didn't do anything. Not even load files

    How did you do to make the USB installation files?
    You must use a program to make the disk boot able.

    I contacted Microsoft and was told that its too old and that although the upgrade assistant says it is compatible (other than the integrated graphics not running areo) the hardware is too old to accept 7. So it looks like the bin for the little laptop.

    I have an old laptop that I've installed Lubuntu.
    Work very well.
