Clean install win7 on win10 pc
I upgraded from win7 pro to win10 as advised by my pc supplier for ongoing support for the future
I was running some security locked third party software protected by crypkey which was working fine udates to WIN10 when errors started to occur -to the point that after latest update -which Igather are "mandatory" -it will not work -nor will it generate an authorisation string from the software vendor
We have tried several times to generate a "user string" but each time an error code appears
The best suggestion is to revert to Win7 via a clean install and then relaod my other software after installing the "protected" software onto a virtual brand new PC so that it at least cannot be fouled by some other conflict (which is believed to be driver related)
I have been asked to:-
Back up files and docs which I have using win10 to a dvd and one of your advisers has informed me that I will not lose my Yahoo e-mails as they are on external servers
I have burnt an ISO of WIN 7PRO ready and run speccy to get details of my system hardware (as detailed in my registration
Please can you assist in the following as I am unable to trace original system drivers
If I load win7 pro will I be able to go online and download programmes and drivers or will I need additional driver to enable a n internet connection -ie are most of the "basic drivers " included in win7 ie mouse keyboard (monitor is p and p Belinea)
I have had no need to carry out this in the past as buying updated systems -they have always been purchased up and running and then I have loaded any software progs from downloaded links -other than the OS and MSOffice etc for which I have official disks and keys
Someone mentioned also that by doing the win10 upgrade (more than 30days ago) I have lost my Win 7 key and the win10 one I have will not allow me to go back or allow me to use it for Win7
After all the hassle with the sware authorisation I dont want to carry out this operation and be no nearer to be up and running again Frankly at the moment I wish Id never taken the win10 "freebie"offer !!!
Your expert advice would be most appreciated
