    - You should, as I wrote on post #6 and Fireberd also suggested, restore win 10 (factory restore) and do a M.2 disk Image on an external disk. If something goes wrong, you can restore as it came from Dell.
    - To create a Win 7 installation disk for a M.2 nvme drive isn't a simple task. Read my tutorial.

    The Dell backup reinstall drive (Flash Drive) procedure that came with my new Inspiron Laptop with an M.2 drive allows restoring to the M.2 drive if needed.

I have been attempting to install windows 7 on a Gx280 on and off for a while now. Originally the system had a 3.2ghz 32-bit cpu in it. (Intel Pentium 4 540) and 1gb as 2 512mb 400mhz ddr2 modules. I purchased an extra 2gb of ddr533, knowing it will run at 400mhz if i keep the original 2 memory...
