    CD/DVD drive device driver is missing


    Hi, trying to dongrade from windows 10 to 7.
    Windows 7 USB installation "CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. tryed few versions, usb 2 and 3. creating usb with rufus. bios secure boot disable, csm enabled. first time instaled ok, but stuck after instaliation at first boot. reformated usb with rufus, and cant pass


    CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. Any sugestions?

    Use Asus`s EZ Installer program to create a usb installer with usb 3 drivers.

    And use the boot menu to choose the usb stick 1 time, don`t make any changes in the Bios or it will just keep booting from the usb stick over and over.

    If it came with Win 10, fist thing to do is to create the Factory recover disks. If something goes wrong, you can recover to factory default.

    Ez instaler do the trick, but cant find drivers for windows 7 (asus 402S).

    Do you have mouse and keyboard when you boot win 7 installation disk?

    Keyboard is working, I connected external mouse. Sound is working to.

    Open device manager. Right click on the missing driver - properties - Details tab - Hardware ids.
    Google for the string like PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_001A&SUBSYS_2052168C&REV_01

    Can find just for windows 10. Just tryed to instal windows 10, got stop screen error code memory managament.
