Re-install Windows 7 Home Premium OEM
Hi guys,
I have a problem with a Samsung laptop, the model is NP530U3B.
A couple of years ago, after I had been experiencing some problems, a friend of mine re-installed Windows 7 Home Premium on this laptop, but instead of using the recovery partition on the hard drive and re installing the Windows OEM that came with the computer, he installed a different ISO and activated it with another product key. I don't know why. The recovery partition is therefore gone, and I don't know how to proceed from here.
I now want to re-install windows once again and I need and ISO but if I go to the Microsoft website and insert the two product keys that I have i get two error messages
1) with the original product key sticked to the laptop: the website tells me that this key is referred to and OEM copy and that I should contact Samsung. The problem is that Samsung won't answer.
2) The product key for for the Windows 7 that I am currently using: the website tells me that there is an error and that I should contact Microsoft. I don't know if my friend installed a cracked version of the OS at that time.
What should I do?
If I download any ISO of Windows 7 Home Premium will I be able to activate it with my Samsung OEM product key Will this cause any problem?
Alternatively, do I need a specific ISO for the Samsung laptop?
Thanks
