Roy, I did get the Home Premium SP1 64 bit COEM iso downloaded the other day. The one I had in files was not the COEM.
Since the computer has booting issues, I will clean install it in the next couple days and see if it works. Let you know when I get her done.

Got the Home Premium SP1 64 bit COEM.iso downloaded Monday.
Decide to first try a reinstall of win10 first.
No luck, click install and get "Windows cannot find the Microsoft License terms".
Tried the win 7, click install and get "No device drivers found"
Should I go ahead and diskpart clean and format the drive?
Will that wipe out any coa info that I might nee?

    Hi Anaron,

You can get the latest W10 Iso from MS, using the media creation tool
I get the W7 links from Heidoc.

Both of the errors would imply that the Iso's are corrupt.

As i said earlier once w10 has registered its registered for "life"
note the next iteration of it is due out shortly

In your current situation i would NOT use Diskpart,
Clean installs overwrite all current data and partitions based on your choices.

Got the Heidoc Windows ISO Downloader and it worked perfectly. Got win 10 reinstalled and it auto activated. Downloaded a new 7 Home Premium Sp1 COEM. I am now going back to your instructions on reverting back to win 7 so we will see how that goes! Don't Know what the issue was with MS Media Creation tool - 3 different downloads on w10 and 2 on w7 with all 5 being corrupt. Will let you know how the win 7 revert works. Thanks a bunch!

There is no COA on the motherboard.

The S/N was "injected" -Microsoft term-into the motherboard.

Reverting to win 7 did not work.
This copy of windows is not genuine
If I could only read the coa sticker.

    Hi Anaron,

Its odd that it automatically went to non-genuine,
A >>clean install<< with no product key entered defaults to a trial period of 28 days, unless it picks up the oem key

can you run the tool, copy/paste the output
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=52012

    what did showkey report.

    Hi Anaron,

Just been to the Acer website, please update the Bios cant even see your version on the D/L page.
Flashing the Bios does on occasion re-activate the product key
( 1 of them might be required to get W10 to run properly)

    Next please install KB971033

    reboot

now were going to recreate the Licensing Store
Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories
Right-Click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator - accept the UAC prompt
Run the following commands in the Command Prompt window, using the Enter key at the end of each

    net stop sppsvc
(wait until the service has stopped before entering the following lines)

    CD %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform

    REN tokens.dat tokens.bar

    net start sppsvc

    cscrpit.exe %windir%\system32\slmgr.vbs /rilc
    (this may take a while)

    REBOOT TWICE

    rerun the tool
