How to reset dual boot options?

My PC dual boots between Win7/XP. The SSD on which the Win7 O/S was installed started to develop faults, so I replaced it. I have installed Windows 7 afresh on the new SSD and run Windows Update.

I still get a boot options screen, but it now shows three options - 'Earlier Version of Windows' and 'Windows 7' twice. I don't want to mess this up, but it needs to be 'cleaned up' so that it reads Windows XP and just one instance of Windows 7. Do I just need to reinstall EasyBCD (can't recall what I need to do after that, but I can Google it no doubt), or is there something else I need to do as well (or instead)?

Best I know before I do something silly! Thanks.

I hope you took out the old SSD and any HDD when you did the clean Win 7 install.

Boot options on a UEFI BIOS are easy to clean, but we must be sure what you have.
Open disk management, expand all columns so we can read them and with the snipping tool take a snapshot of whole window. Post here as an attachment. Use the paper clip, browse to the image file - upload.

Despite you have a UEFI BIOS, all disks are Legacy-MBR.
The Win XP boot loader still has an option of Win 7. Use EasyBCD to clean it.
