Can't Clone, Carry Over Settings to New Install?

Outside of cloning/imaging how can Windows settings be migrated between separate installs? Documents I am not concerned with, but how about all of the customizations I've made? Can I just copy my registry over? How can I go about retaining as much from one install to another?

Thank you

Hi iron7,
Don't understand clone not possible, but whatever! Your systems specs are, for all intensive purposes, void.
Just a thought.
How about creating a system image, then restore it to new drive. I've done this more than once using AOMEI backupper, although I'm pretty sure most any reputable backup program will do the same. Not a clone, but essentially the same.

No cloning/imaging of current OS will be possible (please don't ask, I'm assuring).

Really? No way for any kind of bulk settings transfer?

You are not giving us much to work with here!
Perhaps an explanation why to both of the above quotes would help us to better understand and advise you!
