is there Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) for W7?

    Hello,

Is there a Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) for Windows 7 OFFLINE installer?

I am not sure about the following links:

Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) for Windows 8
Download Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) for Windows® 8 from Official Microsoft Download Center

Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK) for Windows 8.1 Update
Download Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK) for Windows 8.1 Update from Official Microsoft Download Center

Can someone please point me to the link for (ADK) for Windows 7 (If it exists) ?

    Thanks
    Came

    Hi Came,

    Here is what you want:
The Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) for Windows 7

I assume that you are going to be using DISM?
I have used it on Windows 7 and it works well.

    I hope this helps!

No idea what is a DISM

I want to create an Acronis WinPE-Based Acronis Bootable Media,

Sooooo I don't need for Windows 7 Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) to create an Acronis WinPE-Based Acronis Bootable Media?

Then Why for Windows 8.1 and above, I need (AIK) and (ADK)?

    Thanks
    Came

You just need the right iso. Burn a CD or make an USB bootable drive.
