    Windows 7 can't Install

Hello there! I am new to the forum. :)

I am having a problem installing Windows 7 on my laptop at home. I have a, Acer Aspire E5-473G-304W.

I did try to fresh install a Windows 7 on the Laptop via FlashDrive, but all the time I am about to install it, the screen just freezes up on the Windows 7 Loading Screen (example photo below)

I tried variuos Windows 7 Installaion ISO's, but still the same problem occurs. I am posting on the forum looking for someone that could help me.

EDIT: Installing Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 is fine, its just the 7 I can't. And wondering why?

    Laptop Specs:
    Processor : Intel Core i3-5005U Processor (3M Cache, 2.00GHz)
    Graphics : 2GB NVIDIA GeForce 920M DDR3 VRAM
    Operating System : Windows 10
    Display : 14-inch HD 1366 x 768 resolution Acer CineCrystal LED-backlit TFT LCD Display

    Did you set BIOS properly?
Secure boot and fast boot must be off.
How did you transfer win 7 installation to the flash drive?
Did you booted the win 7 installation flash drive as UEFI?

    1. Yes
    2. Yep
    3. Rufus, Win32Disk Imager, UNetBootIn, and others.
    4. EUFI/MBR, Yes.

Does it ask for a driver on CD \ DVD?
Boot the win 7 installation flash drive as UEFI. Launch the boot menu and you'll see two options to boot flash drive:
    - Legacy
    - UEFI
Choose UEFI, go to install - advanced and delete ALL partitions - create new.
    It will create 3 partitions:
    - UEFI FAT32 100M
    - MS reserved RAW 120M
    - Large NTFS.
Choose to install on the large NTFS.

It does not ask for CD/DVD, because the process is not started at all since what I said. It just hangs on the like "Please wait" of the installing and freezes up.

You need acces to machine running windows 7 or newer.
Then you use dism to install the drivers into the installation media.

I think you have a problem with the Win 7 installation flash disk.
    - Format the flash disk as Fat32
    - Copy all files and folders from the Win 7 installation DVD or iso to the flash disk.
    - Add the Boot folder under \Efi - https://www.sevenforums.com/attachme...rting-boot.zip

This will make the flash disk boot able as UEFI only.

Your laptop is supported with either 8.1 or 10. Acer doesn't offer driver support for Windows 7 for this laptop. That may be why you are having issues with the install. Even if you are successful installing Windows 7, you may not be able to get all of the Windows 7 drivers for it.
