Did I make a Booboo when I reinstalled Win 7 Home Premium?

Hello, I need a little advice. I reinstalled Windows 7 Home Premium (which I have done successfully many times). For some reason my C drive is showing that I only have 581 MB of free space. It has a 148 GB disk. I have very few programs installed on it as it is old and I only use it for a few things. Did I make a wrong move when I reinstalled?? Did I pick the wrong partition or something? Please any advice would be appreciated!

PS I tried to upload pics of my c drive chart and it wouldn't work.

Did you format the install partition ? Did you delete the entire drive to unallocated space ?

Post a shot of Disk Management.

Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image - Windows 7 Help Forums

Just save of snip of Disk Management and upload it.

To post a screenhot, click the Paperclip.

In the new window that opens, click browse and select the picture you want to upload.

    Click Upload.

Wait till it has uploaded then close the window.

Click the paperclip again to insert into a post.

You might have installed to the wrong partition.

Type diskmgmt.msc in the start search box.

Click it when it appears. It will take a moment to load the disk information.

Take a screenshot of the disk management, showing the partition layout.

Then post a screenshot of it.

Well I did it but it wasn't easy. It kept telling me I didn't have enough disk space... I think I did boo boo.

You will need to boot media, so you can boot into it and have a look at what is on that partition.

Updated boot media. Minor bug fixes, updated drivers, added drivers for Ryzen, new versions of Aomei Backupper, PartAssist,WinNtSetup, Recuva, Dism++,DiskGenius, added shadowcopyview.

I solved it!!! I think when I installed and it asked me if I wanted to keep old windows I said yes. I deleted the old windows files and I regained 119 Gigs giving me 80% free. I have been under treatment for Melanoma and the drugs I took for chemo have made figuring out things much harder for me. Thank you for sending me in the right direction!!
