Expanding / Adding extra primary partitions on HDD

Hi all, I'm currently trying to re install Windows from scratch and am having some trouble sorting out partitions on my HDD.

I used a tutorial I found on here to create the partition but when I booted up windows my C: Drive only had the free space of the partition with the amount the OS took up used (100GB Partition left me with about 70GB or so).

I then went through the process again but this time decided to just try and clean format etc the whole HDD to put the OS onto but after doing this it kept telling me that it could not load windows onto Disk 0. Im guessing this is because its a 1TB HDD?

What is the best way to load the OS onto the HDD while keeping all of the space?

I know this may be abit complicated to read but I have tried to word it the best I can.

    Thanks!

Do you have a Data partition, if not....

Did you delete the entire drive to unallocated space ?

What exactly do you mean "Load the OS onto the HDD while keeping all the space" ??

W7 only takes up about 20 to 25 GB

Simple way is to delete all partitions then boot windows and let it create what it needs. It's simple then to shrink or create partition as you need it
