Thanks for the info, but when you say "etcetera" do I just inject them all, or is there a way unbeknown to me of deciding exactly which need injecting? Does injecting them all do any harm? Thanks a lot!

What are you referring to? If you mean extracting drivers, extract the entire contents if you like. 7Up will integrate the relevant bits and ignore the rest.

It said my image was too big and to use split-wim but I don't know what I'm supposed to do with the split file(s).
Edit - Re -read some of the thread, seems splitting was only required for f32, nevermind.

If you want to boot the Win 7 installation disk as EFI to install it as EFI-GPT your USB disk MUST be formatted as Fat32.
When you split the install.wim it will give you Install.swm and install1.swm
Then you delete install.wim and keep Install.swm and install1.swm

Hi, I've got an HP Pavilion laptop that came with Windows 7 installed as a Vista upgrade. I'd like to blow it away, repartition the disk for dual boot with Linux, and do a clean install of Windows 7. The only problem (I think) is that I don't have the installation media. I've searched online...
