First of all i would like to say thank you to SIW2 for all the great work!
Unfortunately i have not been able to create a bootable usb which detects my mouse and keyboard with both your tool and the Integrate7 script by wkeller
I have followed instructions down to a tee with both install methods, and both will not work.
I am trying to get this booting off relatively new hardware (MSI MEG x570 Ace Mobo, Ryzen 3700x)
Any recomendations would much be appriciated.

This is a big ask, but can you post a link to where you found detailed and clear instructions how to use either of these methods. I found a few references but they are full of gaps and not easy for someone not up to speed on the jargon.

For SIW2's excellent utility program, the beginning of this thread and subsequent pages will answer any questions => Update your Win 7 installation media..

The same applies here for wkeller's utility program => Integrate7 script – automatically download and slipstream all updates!.

    I hope this helps!

You might find this easier- it is a big download but has a simple user interface direct download Windows_7_Image_Updater.7z

Thank you all once again for your attempts at enlightenment. I finally managed to crack it. I put my W7 Pro ISO into the new machine and ran the install. Then found a copy of Simplix (a fairly recent one) and put it on a USB drive then fed it to the new machine and ran it. It has installed 55 updates. I assume they are the essential ones. I have switched off the Automatic Update feature so as soon as I can get the internet access I'll add the other bits and pieces that can't be installed from my old machine.
