    More x570 issues...

Tired the Image Updater ap, get to boot to installer, find drive and format, then as install proceeds, it stops at 0%, states that install can no lonnger continue because Windows will not be able to continue to reboot to complete install, tried selecting driver for NVMe. prior to all attempts...mouse works throughout trys. Tried Rufus using UEFI option, non UEFI option, CSM disabled/enabled, secure boot is disabled as is TPM. Any ideas?

Aorus x570, 3700x, RX 6800 xt, Sabrent NVMe, Windows 7 Pro installer.

CORRECT BIOS SETTINGS TO INSTALL WINDOWS 7 ON X570 PLATFORM - █▓▒░ Unlisted Retrograde Slacker

    Windows 7 on Ryzen 7 5800x x570 | Overclock.net

I can confirm no (significant) issues on Asus WS X570Ace and R7 5800X3D plus Samsung NVMe disk. Just NTlite or Dism NVMe and USB3.0 drivers into install win7 image and install - clean install is no problem. Also managed to “migrate” old win7 installation (lot of apps, games) via applying image of old MBR sys partition to GPT disk, then Macriumreflect rescue usb “Fix win boot troubles” to recreate BCD to fix booting, then dism this installation with new drivers (yes it is really possible to inject drivers into existing win installation even without mounting the image”, uefi boot it up, wait a minute for drivers to enable mouse and keyboard and finish install. I can only report one issue (except no driver for wifi) - had AI suite 3 installed, that causeed BSOD few sec after win7 startup due to ASIO.dll - it is possible to block startup of this **** via disabling services etc., however complete uninstall is difficult on different chipset due to ASIO missing error during install/uninstall), so I uninstalled that on original PC completely using AI cleaner, redo all process and then all fine. Also if u can grab old PCIe-PS2/USB2.0 you should be fine to go over missing usb drivers. Stable, superfast WIN7 on NVMe disk as a result worth the hassle

Are you using the most recent bios on that board ?

I can sure that ASUS Gigabyte MSI X570/B550 can work on win7 and don’t need mod acpi.sys, because I had tested them before. I recommend buy a mainboard without WiFi card, also can buy the mainboard replace the WiFi card easily one. My Gigabytes X570 and B550 platforms all replace the WiFi card with 8260/8265AC,RTL8822CE,Killer 1535 which can work on win7.

    SUCCESS!!!

Im happy to report that the MSI Prestige X570 Creation has a windows 7 compatible Bios. Windows 7 been installed and is fully functional expect for the intel wifi & Bluetooth devices which was expected based on other threads listed here and im ok with. NVME updates and USB drivers are functioning without issue. please note that for this motherboard i did experience issues with the 1.0.0.13 USB drivers causing USB sticks to malfunction when plugged into USB3.0 slots and not transfer data. This was fixed by switching to the 1.0.5.3 USB drivers provided by @canonkong (thanks!) and USB is working flawlessly with USB devices tested so far across all ports ( razer blackadder mouse, madcats kv5 keyboard, turtle beach stealth 450 headset, nexus 6 phone, and various models of USB sticks and portable hard drives)

now if only cyberpunk 2077 was as bug free as my system is…
