    SIW2 said:
KB2990941 and KB3087873 hotfixes no longer included as they cause issues installing on a very few machines. They are not needed.
    Thanks to confirm,

I saw the problem (Installing failure of KB2990941/KB3087873) from Ver. F (Apr 2022) to Ver. H (Jul 2022). I didn't try Ver. I yet.

How do i install this update into the Windows 7 .iso file?

    Here is what i do.

    1. I click on the Windows 7 .iso file.
    2. I select Mount.
    3. I open 7UPDATERv64I
    4. On the Browse For Folder window, i open This PC and select the disc file: DVD Drive (E:) DVD_ROM

Using this method, i got ""E:" is not writable" error.

Here is the second method i used.

    1. I open the Windows 7 .iso file.
    2. I copy all files in the Windows 7 .iso file.
    3. I create a folder, then paste the files in the folder.
    4. I open 7UPDATERv64I. then in the Browse For Folder window, i select the folder i pasted the files in.

Using this method, the process goes fine, and finishes successfully. However, when i copy the edited files, and then open the iso file and try to paste them in the file, i get a message saying that the disc (the iso file) is full, doesn't have enough free space, and the files can't be pasted, which means i can't replace the old files with the new files.

    Can someone help me?

    Min4ove4e:

These are the canned instructions that I created for myself that may be helpful to you.

    -----------------------------------------------

    Download and save 7UPv64I.zip

When the 7UPv64I.zip file is unzipped, a 7UPv64I folder will appear.

Open the 7UPv64I folder to expose its contents.

Create a new folder inside this folder and name it EXTRACTED-ISO

Copy the contents of a Windows 7 SP1 64-bit disc or extract the contents of a Windows 7 SP1 64-bit ISO file inside the EXTRACTED-ISO folder.

Copy UpdatePack7R2-22.7.14.exe and dotNetFx48_20220614_x64.WA inside the 7UPv64I folder.

    Deploy the 7UPDATERv64I.cmd command script.

Follow the instructions very carefully as they appear.

When you are prompted to locate the Windows 7 installation files, browse to and select the EXTRACTED-ISO folder.

Do NOT touch the keyboard and mouse for any reason during the integration process, unless you are instructed to type in and enter something.

When the integration process is finished, a log file will appear.

    Deploy the ISO-CREATE.cmd command script.

Follow the instructions very carefully as they appear.

When you are prompted to locate the Windows 7 installation files, browse to and select the EXTRACTED-ISO folder.

An ISO file will be created.

This will allow you to create bootable install media for Windows 7 SP1 64-bit which will be up to date to July 2022.

Hello. I'm back, and I've had a huge problem lately.

To explain, when I install Windows 7, it works. It boots to the desktop, no issues. But after installing a critical update, Windows 7's logo doesn't show up, then 30 seconds later it reboots itself and I don't know why.

Here are my canned instructions for using SIW2's most recent tool in conjunction with the most recent Simplix update pack and the most recent .NET Framework 4.8 add-on.

The entire process went fine and the install media that was created worked fine to install Windows 7 Professional 64-bit which was up to date to August 2022.

Note: If you plan to add additional drivers and additional files, the below steps do not apply.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Download and save 7UPv64I.zip

When the 7UPv64I.zip file is unzipped, a 7UPv64I folder will appear.

Open the 7UPv64I folder to expose its contents.

Create a new folder inside this folder and name it EXTRACTED-ISO

Copy the contents of a Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit disc or extract the contents of a Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit ISO file inside the EXTRACTED-ISO folder.

Copy UpdatePack7R2-22.8.10.exe and dotNetFx48_20220809_x64.WA inside the 7UPv64I folder.

Temporarily disable real-time protection in the antivirus app.

    Deploy the 7UPDATERv64I.cmd command script.

Follow the instructions very carefully as they appear.

When you are prompted to locate the Windows 7 installation files, browse to and highlight the EXTRACTED-ISO folder.

Do NOT touch the keyboard and mouse for any reason during the integration process, unless you are instructed to type in and enter something.

When the integration process is finished and a log file appears, save or close the log and then press any key to exit the script.

    Deploy the ISO-CREATE.cmd command script.

Follow the instructions very carefully as they appear.

When you are prompted to locate the Windows 7 installation files, browse to and highlight the EXTRACTED-ISO folder.

An ISO file will be created.

Turn back on real-time protection in the antivirus app.

Use the ISO file to create bootable install media for Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit which will be up to date to August 09, 2022.

    SIW2:
I always use your tool "as is" and only integrate the Simplix update pack and NET Framework 4.8 add-on into it.
I do not integrate any other drivers or other files.
I do not have any new suggestions for the next version.
