These are the canned instructions that I created for myself that may be helpful to you.

Download and save 7UPv64I.zip

When the 7UPv64I.zip file is unzipped, a 7UPv64I folder will appear.

Open the 7UPv64I folder to expose its contents.

Create a new folder inside this folder and name it EXTRACTED-ISO

Copy the contents of a Windows 7 SP1 64-bit disc or extract the contents of a Windows 7 SP1 64-bit ISO file inside the EXTRACTED-ISO folder.

Copy UpdatePack7R2-22.7.14.exe and dotNetFx48_20220614_x64.WA inside the 7UPv64I folder.

Deploy the 7UPDATERv64I.cmd command script.

Follow the instructions very carefully as they appear.

When you are prompted to locate the Windows 7 installation files, browse to and select the EXTRACTED-ISO folder.

Do NOT touch the keyboard and mouse for any reason during the integration process, unless you are instructed to type in and enter something.

When the integration process is finished, a log file will appear.

Deploy the ISO-CREATE.cmd command script.

Follow the instructions very carefully as they appear.

When you are prompted to locate the Windows 7 installation files, browse to and select the EXTRACTED-ISO folder.

An ISO file will be created.

This will allow you to create bootable install media for Windows 7 SP1 64-bit which will be up to date to July 2022.

I followed this method but when I try to use the USB drive to boot, I get "BOOTMGR is missing Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart"
Any idea how to solve this?

As per your instructions (thank you btw), writing the ISO directly to the USB

I use my canned instructions to create bootable installation media in a DVD.
I have never used it for a USB flash drive.
I will leave you with SIW2 to sort out your issue.

NOTE: It is not required to use the simplix update pack. If you only want to integrate usb3 and nvme support, Run 7updater.cmd without simplix update pack present.

If you want to include the simplix pack:
Small downloader which can be run to download the latest Simplix updatepack ( about 850mb).

If you are using simplix updatepack, strongly recommend including the latest Net framework 4.8 add-on (see next post)


1. Extract the 7UPv64.zip directly to the root of the drive, so you have C:\7UPv64 folder.

2. If you want to include simplix update pack, put the UpdatePack7R2-date.exe in the C:\7UPv64 folder.

3. Copy and paste your windows 7 SP1 installation media to a hard disk or ssd - not to a usb stick.

(Or use ISO-EXTRACT.cmd to extract your windows 7 SP1 iso file to a hard disk or ssd - not to a usb stick.)

4. Right click and Run as administrator on the the 7UPDATERv64.cmd

Note: it is recommended to turn off your antivirus real time protection during the process, because it will slow it down.

Hello mate, just bought a pentium gold G5400 (8th gen) for my small H310 barebone HTPC, of course i now need the windows 7 x64 UHD 610 drivers, can you link me where i can found them for this specific cpu? Thank you a lot.

ps: Found this package you linked in another thread, but i'm not sure these drivers are correct and will working on my system.
