    need to unmount folder

Advice given me was that to solve a problem a file should be mounted. This was done and the problem was solved. Now I wish to unmount the file, and cannot find any way of doing this. Advice would be valued. thank you.

The advice I had was to check a file, and to do this by
"mounting it to a drive letter via the right-click menu in File Explorer"
Apart from using Windows explorer, this was done and now I wish to unmount it. It does not matter that it's mounted except when I start the computer a Windows explorer window with the file and the others in that folder appears, which I do not want.

It is like getting blood from a stone.

    What file?

What were you advised to do?

What program/command did you use to do it?

Do you think we are psychic?
