    Desktop icons


    I have just done a clean install and I have some app icons on my desktop but I cannot get them to stay where I place them.
    I have searched the tutorial but cannot find anything resembling what i would like to do. This is the first time I have come across this as my other machines the icons stay where I place them .
    Any ideas please.

    hi make sure auto arrange icon is not checked and align to grid is not checked under view when you right click desktop
