Hi wkeller :)

Just a fyi thing really (reference the bolded bit of your post above); i had just applied the latest security rollup update for Windows 7 (KB4503292) and immediately saw bad issues on my system after the reboot, info is in this thread here:

Beware of 2019-06 Security Monthly Quality Rollup KB4503292

I just wanted to let you know as i see a few other people with problems after this update and it would be a shame to have your excellent script put bad things on peoples PC's because of MS incompetence (or malice?).

It might not be an issue for all people, but i was so shocked by the sudden bad behavior of my system after the update i wanted to let you (and others) know.

My new system build is still waiting the OS to be installed but i am going to use your script built version of WIndows 7 now it is burnt onto the Double Layer DVD (8GB capacity) i bought for the purpose, and i will do an update once i have tried it out( it may take me a while to get around to it though!).

hi wkeller,
thank u for the amazing script! I've used it to update my win7 32 bit English iso. there were some addl'l updates that happened. attaching screenshots of all the updates that were downloaded (few of them, as part of running ur script & few post installation of win7, from windows update). i'm also attaching screen print of configuration section that i changed.
q1. can i include the add'l kb articles (from screen print) in ..\hotfixes\hfixes_all.txt file? i see the format as <file name> <file url> is this rite?
q2. from ..\hotfixes\net4_all.txt, can i remove 'non English language packs' section?

I don't understand. The script is complete.
Why have you .NET 4.7.2 updates displayed ? The script doesn't contain .NET Framework 4.7.2 at all.
You have something messed up.

Use vanilla/original Windows 7 ISO image from Microsoft and latest version of the script.

But why ?
Integrate7.cmd is intelligent and it will ignore any redundant updates.
So removing anything from net4_all.txt is useless. The only goal of this file is to provide URLs to download them by Integrate7.cmd .

ok. so, this is what i want to do & the flags that i should be using in the initial part of the script (configuration section):

set InstallHotfises=1 --> installs all hot fixes post sp1 until July'19

set IncludeNET4=1 --> installs .net ver 4.8
set ExecuteNGEN=1 --> installs all queued up .net compilations
set IncludeDX9=1 --> installs direct x 9.0

setApplyCustPatches=1 --> installs custom patches

set RemoveSR=0 --> keeps system restore
set RemoveDefender=0 --> keeps windows defender (with all latest updates to it??)
set DisableEventLogs=0 --> keeps event logs. (i don't have m/s sql server or similar s/w - rdbms).

I just came upon this thread. How would I use your script for a new installation? Does it contain the 7 ISO or just your updates and improvements?

Everything except installation media itself. You have to provide original Windows 7 ISO DVD (any language).
