I have now done everything in your photos but it doesn't work. I check so the new bootloader was there. I only see the windows logo in green and nothing happens for over 2 hours, i will try another windows iso on the web.

To install win 7 on your Acer.
    - Make a disk image on an external disk. With it you can use it to search for Vista drivers if Win 7 doesn't have them.
    - Boot from Win 7 32 bits installation disk. Go to advanced, delete all partitions, create new partition.
    - Install on the big NTFS partition.

Linux is an up to date OS and there are some light Linux Distributions.
Once you learn how to use it you wont miss Vista. I have Lubuntu on my computer and I like it.

Hashes are checksums that can be used to verify files.

You can look it up. Google for it on Bing.

It should be obvious the hashes listed above are for the iso files.

Use a hash checker to make sure your downloaded iso matches the official iso.

If it doesn't match then your iso has been tampered with.
