Is this thread up to date for burning an ISO file to USB?
Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool
Is the above link a good one for creating a bootable USB drive with a Windows ISO file on it?
I'm starting out with trying to get all my ducks in a row for when support ends for Windows 7 and I did see that I need to create a bootable USB drive with the W7 ISO file on it.
But when I read other threads about creating a bootable USB drive, they say "To burn the ISO to a USB you could either use Rufus 3.3 or Rufus 3.3 Portable: Create bootable USB drives".
The ONLY place I've seen info on using the Windows7-USB-DVD-tool.exe file to create a bootable USB drive for installation of Windows 7 (Pro), is from the link I posted above.
I have downloaded the Windows 7 Pro 64Bit ISO file from Microsoft. It's labeled: Win7_Pro_SP1_English_COEM_x64.iso
Could someone please clarify/help/ and or straighten me out with this?!?
