    I have & installed and network access. Still getting dozens of updates fro M$, suppose that will take a while to work through.

    Had my Norton Security re-installed by Norton. Wanted to share what Norton's scan found. See attachment

    I need to find a good article on setting up Win 7. Esp having problem getting Admin rights. I've collected a few articles over the past few weeks, but if you know of a good guide to all aspects of set up that you could point me to, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks for your help, I wouldn't have gotton this far w/o your help. Thanks for your time. I'll mark thread solved if I don't hear back.

    Easier ways to get updates:

    Use dism++

    Or d/l the Simplix update pack and run it. (it is about 700mb)

    Big advantage of Simplix is it avoids telemetry and other unwanted junk.

    Regarding Norton - it seems to have found some kms activation tools. Where did it find those? Were they on your windows 10 partition?

    Esp having problem getting Admin rights.
    Type UAC (user account control)in start search box. Click it when it pops up, then pull the slider down to where you want apply, ok.
