    You were ripped off because you cannot buy a key for $20, unless you buy it from someone on eBay that is selling release candidate keys or keys stolen from Technet or MSDN/MSDNAA. You aren't the first person who posted problems with eBay keys, and you (unfortunately) won't be the last.

    Contact the seller and get your money back.

    You attempted the anytime upgrade with the key and it said it was invalid. This indicates that they key was blacklisted by Microsoft.

    Considering that Windows 7 Ultimate (as an upgrade) is worth well over $100...what did you expect from this deal?
